Navigon Announces Traffic Live Feature for iPhone

Navigon announced a new live-traffic capabilities for the iPhone App menu. The traffic will be live in October for the North American version of the Mobile Navigator for the iPhone. He uses real-time traffic information, better routes and historical data to avoid traffic jams and get the driver their destination faster to calculate.
The Traffic Live uses real-time speed of more than one million drivers across North America, including commercial fleets such as trucks and taxis, but also regular driver with a GPS system. In addition, an intelligent fusion of information from the traffic cameras, speed sensors and uses the conventional traffic reports coming through a radio network.
The system also provides historical traffic data to help predict the road conditions when calculating a route. This includes information about traffic conditions on certain holidays or annual events, allowing the driver to avoid routes that are traditionally overloaded on a regular basis.
