Samsung Code becomes MetroPCS’ first Windows Mobile 6.1 phone

MetroPCS pre-paid mobile service provider on Monday announced that the Samsung code was added to his band. The handset is the carrier of the first with the Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system. With the operating system the user can access contacts, calendar, tasks, notes, a voice recorder, and Windows Live. The WizPro interface is optional, and users can customize home screen by links to the most frequently accessed features.
The Samsung code also supports push e-mail and can synchronize with Microsoft Outlook Mobile, thanks to ActiveSync. The 3G-capable code has a full HTML browser with stereo Bluetooth and a 2-megapixel camera. There is a full hardware QWERTY keyboard, along with a 2.4-inch, 320×240 display. MicroSDHC cards up to 32GB are supported.
