Verizon Motorola Droid promo goes after the iPhone
Verizon has a smack-talking offensive against the iPhone launched a new campaign slogan for their upcoming DroidDoes.com Droid Motorola Android smartphone.
The handset, which is previously known by the codename of the Tao and Sholes, as offers everything the iPhone can not be funded: an open development platform, the ability to background processes, a flexible and open App Store replaceable batteries, etc. really run some trash talking. Verizon even has a countdown timer shows that the Motorola Droid on 30 Will arrive in October 2009.
The teaser site opens with a few statements, all fonts with the familiar i-prefix, and an Apple-style. Things like “iDon’t applications run simultaneously. Then a countdown page with details of the forthcoming Motorola smartphone.
