The laptop is built on a powerful platform and has no problem the vast majority of today’s most demanding tasks. Processor platform, memory and graphics – with these parameters in the notebook all the fun. From the already mentioned design features worth mentioning two batteries included, and an external optical drive (we tested did not get), I would have also noted that the card reader reads only two formats, a three-port USB (one of which is shared with eSATA) – this very-very minimum for this system, especially as external optical drive and there should be a single port.
By the way, the specification for some reason the wireless card is missing a standard Wi-Fi. In fact, she, of course, is installed.

Performance, test scores
Let’s see what level of performance, this model provides a configuration that we had on the test.
First, as usual, measure system performance in PCMark 05 packages and Vantage, 3Dmark06 (in parentheses the results of subtests SM2.0, HDR/SM3, CPU), Cinebench (benchmark 1 core / 2 core / work in OpenGL).
For comparison, we take a relatively long time already tested ASUS N81Vg. Let me remind you, it installed the processor from the old rulers R8700, 2 GB RAM DDR2, graphics core midrange NVIDIA GT120M.

Hmm … A comparison with the older, but also quite productive processor got interesting. The older PCMark05 test differences between the systems almost did not notice, but the newer Vantage – completely. In Cinebench picture too curious.One core clearly faster at R8700, which is not surprising – the processor runs at a much higher frequency. When you connect all four cores Core i7 R8700 devastating loses. And with hardware acceleration gap is not so great – only about four points.

Very large gap observed in memory and in games, and I suspect the reason is everywhere the same – the use of DDR3 (the ASUS everywhere DDR2).
